Well, today was a splurge.
I couldn't resist on a wet, drippy day to do some self-care, so I went and got a massage. It was lovely, I felt all floaty and relaxed. Then got a few groceries to last the weekend, then went to CVS and got a bunch of nail polishes and some makeup. Now all my nails are pink! I think Sunday Girlie Sunday (a girls-only party at Kirsten's pace a couple of weeks ago) got in my head.

It's lame to discuss only the weather
but damn, when we I see the sun again? Another horribly humid morning, awoke stuck to my sheets and sweaty. No, not due to some amorous encounter but because the atmosphere has been in a semi-liquid state for over a week now.
My vacation officially starts today. Wonder what trouble it'll get into?
